Delta Law, a law firm offering services in Contract Law, Civil Litigation, Construction Law, and Corporate Law, was founded by Sophie Mohyuddin.
She earned her Juris Doctorate from Thompson Rivers University in British Columbia and completed her Bachelor of Arts degree, along with an Immigration and Citizenship Canada practicum, at Mount Royal University in Alberta. Sophie possesses knowledge in civil litigation and contract law, including drafting and reviewing service agreements, subcontractor agreements, commercial leases, and franchise agreements, as well as representing clients in civil disputes. She also holds knowledge in construction law, having been awarded The Osgoode Certificate in Construction Law from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in Ontario.
Sophie is dedicated to assisting her clients in achieving the most favorable outcomes in all legal matters and is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) and Ontario Bar Association (OBA).

Sophie Mohyuddin’s practice focuses on business and contract law, including complex commercial agreements, contract negotiation, corporate matters and ongoing fractional general counsel support.
She works closely with founders, executives and leadership teams on significant commercial relationships, commercial risk and other matters where legal decisions can have meaningful business consequences.
Her work involves assessing complex contractual structures, risk allocation and commercial obligations, with a focus on identifying the issues most likely to affect the client’s position, operations and longer-term business objectives.
Her approach combines careful legal analysis with a practical understanding of the broader transaction, relationship and commercial objective.
In addition to her legal practice, Sophie teaches Contract Law at Fanshawe College.

Sophie Mohyuddin founded Delta Law to provide growing businesses with the kind of senior, commercially grounded legal support that has historically been accessible only to larger organizations. Her practice focuses on commercial contracts, fractional general counsel, and contract risk management.
In addition to her legal practice, Sophie serves as a Professor of Contract Law at Fanshawe College, where she teaches contract interpretation and drafting. Her teaching reflects the same practical, commercially focused approach that informs her client work.
Sophie is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association and holds the Osgoode Certificate in Construction Law from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University.
